Last week I spent 2 days up in Kinglake at Garden Path Gallery to photograph their stock as they prepare to launch their online store.
They have a large range of gardenware of all shapes, sizes, styles and colours so it was quite a fun couple of days working through it all.
I can't remember the last time I went to Kinglake, if indeed I'd been there before but I guess it's like so many other country villages. It's got a supermarket, bank, pub, police station and a couple of other little shops. And a cafe - which does sensationally good steak sandwiches!
The people up there do it tough I reckon. They don't get a lot of people coming through town which is great for a quiet lifestyle but not so great if you are trying to run a business. Not that they complain. They're laid back and take it as it comes. Quite refreshing from the high intensity of city living.
Next time you're up that way do yourself and the town a favour and drop in. It's a beautiful part of the world.
Here's a little selection of some of the products we shot over the 2 days.
